Note: As we look forward to the fall semester, remember that the UNT Health Alerts site is full of helpful information. The Symptoms and Monitoring page includes the latest COVID-19 signs and symptoms and a form to help you closely monitor your health for the 14 days before you return to campus. The page also contains student and faculty and staff scenario guides for what to do should you become ill or if you have had contact with someone who has COVID-19, is exhibiting symptoms or has been in contact with someone else exhibiting symptoms.
The Galleries are closed to the public through the Fall 2020 semester, open to serve curricular needs.
The UNT Art Galleries support the educational mission of the university, enrich the aesthetic environment and serve as a cultural resource for the public. With a focus on curatorial projects involving contemporary art, the CVAD Galleries at UNT inspire and empower student and community audiences through the viewing experience, foster students' confidence in the public display of their artworks and present and promote the artist's voice.
CVAD student exhibitions change weekly in one of our two student art galleries, making a visit to the CVAD Art Galleries a new experience every time. Students earning the B.F.A. and M.F.A. degrees organize an exhibition of their work as part of their academic achievement, student groups organize group- and juried-exhibitions around a particular medium or discipline, and faculty coordinate exhibitions from their courses. Exhibitors reserve exhibition time in the galleries up to two or three semesters in advance. We recommend contacting the gallery as early as possible to facilitate securing the week and the gallery of your choice.
If you would like to reserve a gallery, please contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 940-565-4316.
